Nessa checked the bulletin board with the room assignments again before heading out to her new room, carrying all her bags that she had brought with her the first day of school. Good thing she didn’t really get situated into her old room yet, so the cleanup of all of her stuff was easier than she thought. She walked over to the room, and knocked on the door, hoping her new roommate would be in there already. Nessa saw her open the door and gave her a warm smile. “Hey. Aurora, right?”

Aurora nodded and saw the numerous bags that she had brought. “Oh, let me help you with that,” she offered her help and took some bags inside. She had the bags placed near the vacant bed and turned to her new roommate. “I kind of had your space ready. Guess you could say I’m excited.”
